Terry has been involved in the golf course, landscape, and construction industry since 1978 and his duties include on-site project management, scheduling, budget analysis construction meeting coordinator and document coordination. He also works closely with the architects, consultants and the general contractor(s) to insure the transition takes place without disruption from plans to implementation. He continues to provide agronomic consultation for clients rendering short and long term capital improvement budgets as well project management. Throughout his career, Terry has been involved in building golf courses throughout the United States starting out as a shaper and progressing to the level of Senior Project Manager.
From 1995 to 1998 Terry was the Construction Manager for Munie Golf Construction located in the Midwest. His responsibilities included owner/architect liaison, golf construction coordinator, purchasing and customer relations.
In 1984 Terry was hired by Southern Counties Landscape as the Operation Manager for a multi-million dollar landscape construction firm and was responsible for all the construction and maintenance projects throughout Southern California, including several golf course communities. The company was associated with one of the largest homebuilders in Southern California and provided construction services to their master planned communities and parks. In 1995 Terry left the firm to further pursue his passion in the golf industry.
From 1980 to 1984 Terry worked for Pacific Golf Developers as a shaper and foreman building golf courses throughout the western United States, working with several prominent golf course architects. It was here that Terry was taught golf course construction from the ground up.
Terry holds a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University Fullerton.
