Garrett is a graduate of the Edinburgh College of Art having earned a Masters Degree in Golf Course Architecture. Prior to studying in Scotland, Garrett received his Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture, with a concentration in turf management, from Cornell University. While at Cornell, he completed an internship at the Bethpage State Park Golf Courses, home of the Black Course. Through his studies, Garrett has had the opportunity to study and play some of the great golf courses in the United States and United Kingdom. Garrett is actively involved in the profession of landscape architecture and is an Associate Member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
