Located in beautiful Northern Wisconsin, this old golf course, built in the pre-WWII era, had the backbone of a fine golf course when the owners retained our company to remodel the Trout Lake Golf Club.
The goal from the outset was to two fold: to make Trout Lake a destination golf venue for Northern Wisconsin, and to bring back some of the Golden Age concepts to provide Trout Lake with a stlye and flavor from this era of golf.
To that end, we created a comprehensive Master Plan that would provide the foundation for a full fledged remodeling program. Included in the design was a re-routing of some of the golf holes, and the creation of a Redan, Double Plateau and Biarritz greens.
