Sam Thomas is a graduate member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects as well as an Associate member of the Landscape Institute in the United Kingdom. Sam graduated as a Landscape Architect in 2006 before undertaking his masters degree in Golf Course Architecture in Scotland. Sam continues to have an active involvement in the profession of Landscape Architecture both practically and academically, through teaching with the Landscape Architecture programme at the Edinburgh College of Art. Having the knowledge and background in landscape architecture means a greater ability to read the landscape and find a design solution that integrates seamlessly and remains timeless. Travel is also an important part of Sam’s education and through his studies in both Scotland and professional experience in America, Sam has had the opportunity to visit, study and play many great golf courses throughout the United Kingdom and Europe, as well as being invited to play some of America’s famous gems on both the East and West coasts.

Sam will be heading up the design office for our European and Middle Eastern clients.
